QWK.net stated policy is that we will not host pornographic content on our servers.

Pursuant to QWK.net policy, on January 23, 2006 the hosting Terms and Conditions were violated by the owner of quibbling.net. QWK.net was forced to disable the account of quibbling.net for forcing hard core gay porn onto a unsuspecting 7 year old girl. This girl was searching for pictures of the Pittsburgh Steelers and when linking from "Google Images" to any picture on quibbling.net received the altered content. The mother of the 7 year old girl contacted the owner of quibbling.net asking for the abrasive image to be removed. The owner of quibbling.net reportedly laughed about it and refused to remove the abrasive imagery. When the violation of the QWK.net terms and conditions was brought to our attention, we carefully reviewed the content and how it was being delivered to the unsuspecting public. We saw no other option than to promptly disable quibbling.net. Which was QWK.net contractual right.

After quibbling.net was suspended, QWK.net emailed the owner of the quibbling.net letting her know that the domain was suspended and the reasons for the suspension. In response, the owner of quibbling.net contacted QWK.net. After QWK.net explained section "d" of our terms and conditions and the reasons for suspension, QWK.net made all quibbling.net content available to the customer for download. QWK.net even assisted quibbling.net's move to a different hosting provider by performing system administration tasks required for their move, in a quick and timely manner. At QWK.net's option we could have suspended the entire account which would have effected 2 additional domains baxendell.com and magicpotofjobs.com. We chose to only disable the offensive content in question keeping the other 2 domains active.

Within the first 36 hours of the disabling of quibbling.net, a QWK.net employee was caught up in the emotion of the situation and without management approval posted a message in response to some very aggressive posts by the owner and other friends of quibbling.net. The tone and content was unquestionably not appropriate for which QWK.net apologizes. This posted message does not reflect the viewpoint of the Owner or Management of QWK.net. This employee has been reprimanded for his actions.

In our opinion, the owner of quibbling.net has missed the real issue by trying to appear the victim of her suspension. The real issue should not be forgotten. Quibbling.net broke the terms of service by forcing hard core gay porn on a unsuspecting 7 year old girl.

QWK.net is a business grade hosting provider that does not condone, support, or host pornographic internet content.
